This year’s KUTV Holiday Pops Concert featuring the Choral Arts Society of Utah and West Valley Symphony will kick-off the Holiday season. Joining the concert this year is internationally acclaimed pianist Paul Cardall. A special “Tribute to the Armed Forces” will be a new addition to this year’s concert.
Paul Cardall is known for his unique, heartfelt musical style. Indeed, his fans say Cardall’s music literally soothes the heart and nurtures the soul. His thirteenth studio album titled New Life was the number one Billboard New Age album in February, 2011 and held a position in the top five for more than 30 weeks. There is no filler on this brilliant album that has even surpassed Yanni and Enya on the Billboard New Age Chart, hitting No. 1 without any major label support or media attention - Amazing!”
Members of the 120-voice Master Chorale volunteer their time and talents to provide quality performances, many of which benefit schools and organizations providing humanitarian services to the local area, including this benefit concert for the KUTV Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. The West Valley Symphony, is one of the premier community orchestras in the State, The concert provides gifts of the season to children and senior citizen along the Wasatch Front. Bring the kids, as a special appearance by Santa with the audience sing-a-long is sure to put you in the Holiday spirit.
We wish to thank the Boeing Employees Community Fund, The Sorenson Legacy Foundation, and KUTV 2News, our major sponsors for this event.
